What a lead usually costs you

Angi / HomeAdvisor roofing lead$50–$120 eachshared with 3–8 contractors
Permit data platforms$300–$2,000/moannual contracts, or API-only
This$149/mo · about $1.40 a leadshared with nobody

The honest difference: an Angi lead is a homeowner asking for quotes today. A permit is someone who has already committed to the work — stronger in one way, weaker in another, because some have already hired someone. Where the city publishes it, about a third of permits name no contractor yet. At roughly a dollar forty a lead, the maths survives a lot of already-hired.
